Discover Scuba Diving
If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a PADI Open Water Diver certification course, then the Discover Scuba Diving program will let you try scuba to see if you like it.
While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water, and get an introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. During the day you will do two amazing coral reef dives to a maximum depth of 12 meters, closely supervised by one of our PADI Instructors Price: $125 usd Instruction,1 scuba tank, diving gear, bottle of water included. The PADI Scuba Diver program is a pre-entry level certification that is perfect for vacationers or people who only plan to dive a couple times a year.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing pool dives, knowledge development sessions and by making two open water (ocean or lake) dives. With your PADI Instructor you complete the deep and underwater navigation Adventure Dives. These dives boost your confidence as you build these foundational skills. Then, you choose three additional dives to complete your course. You can go diving at night, search and recovery an anchor or learn more about fishes with the naturalist Adventure Dive.
